TTG Through Tubing Guns
Fully expendable
This fully disposable steel capsule gun is used in "through tubing" operations where high penetration multiphase perforating at moderate cost is very important.
As with all disposable guns, when considering the use of this system, the level of debris from charges must be taken into account. The link mount design represents the advantage of a steel case combined with a stainless steel link that leaves smallest debris.
PIRANHA steel cases obtain maximum penetration with an optimal amount of explosive. The cold formed steel cases guarantee excellent gas tightness. It has a variety of 4 SPF and 6 SPF density and phasing combinations with minimal inventory.
The semi rigid gun system assembly allows easy lifting and smooth running through tubing restrictions. System mounting in the field is fast and easy; the detonating cord is attached and well protected against abrassion while using the specific clip.
SEMI EXPENDABLE
The PIRANHA STRIP gun system is made up of a capsule type steel charge is screwed into a recoverable strap.
It is a semi-recoverable high-performance gun for “through tubing” applications and its explosive charge is more powerful than that of “scallops” guns.
The cold formed steel cases ensures maximum charge performance, reliable high pressure rating and gas tightness. The strength and flexibility of the steel strip allow the system to pass through the restrictions that tubings normally present.
The debris is made up of small fragments of steel that gravitate rapidly to the bottom of the well. In line firing ensures maximum penetration of all charges, and strip protection guarantee casing integrity. Upon special request charges can be supplied to suit the designs of other strip manufacturers.
RTTG Retrievable Through Tubing Guns
For these systems ETASA (Argentina) S.A. produces the two main sizes of charges: 2” (nominal gun outside diameter, also named 2 1/8”) or 1 9/16 ”(nominal gun outside diameter, also named 1 11/16”).
There are different versions of these charges. These charges are available in RDX and HMX. The ETASA charges, for this type of system, are compatible with the hardware produced by the most recognized manufacturers.
During the development of these charges, all kind of tests were carried out in order to produce the minimum deformation of the gun. As a result, a charge with international recognition was obtained and currently used in many parts of the world.
HSD High Shot Density Gun
Actually ETASA (Argentina) S.A. Produces the line of charges for HSD that is used in the different disposable systems.
Once the charges have been fired, the debris from the cold formed cases is better retained within the gun than in the case of fully machined cases, as they are larger in size and cannot exit the gun through the holes.
This charge line does not have plastic attachments or accessories, which reduces the level of debris that can complicate the normal development of a well. The combination of the cold formed cases and the exclusive pluvimetallurgy liner, ensures the highest level of charge performance. The charges for HSD are compatible with the hardware produced by the most recognized manufacturers.
HSC Hollow Steel Carrier (PPG)
The use of the products sold by ETASA allows the user to have a competitive line in price and quality.
Our developments of high penetration HSC charges are based on a great knowledge of the market needs, and on the use of materials that allow a longer life of the gun bodies (for example, the cold formed cases), with the advantages that this implies.
The exclusive design on the aligner with which the ETASA charges are supplied, has been developed to absorb the deformation of the guns and allow the proper fixing of the charges, which makes it possible to maintain a minimum inventory of it.
Due to the characteristics of the cases manufacture, the debri from it is of such a size that it does not come out of the guns through the holes in the plugs.
